This is why people supporting renewable energy have to put up with the doom and gloom “greens want us to live in caves” bullshit. Even though this is a Dem.
There aren’t enough gas turbines to even come close to replacing all coal generation in the entire country. Building a bunch would take almost as much time as just building renewables from the get-go. Not to mention the extra cost. So please, for the sake of everyone who doesn’t want to trash the planet in the name of the almighty dollar, shut up.
