Carers Alliance Candidate for Wentworth, Stuart Neal, responded :

I believe Australia should honour its international agreements or come clean and tell the world it doesn’t want to.
>

It would be good to have some.

Whether you believe in climate change or not it is the way of the future

It’s the right of women to make their own choices

> Support
> What are your thoughts on stem cell research?
> Support
> What are your thoughts on education?
It’s grossly underfunded. It’s also the future of the nation
>
> What are your thoughts on campaign finance disclosure?
There should be plenty of it
> What are your thoughts on climate change?
Too many people who know nothing about it have opinions on it. It’s become a fashion rather than a sensible discussion. Let’s have the scientists debate it and take it from there.
>
> What are your thoughts on water?
We need to plan and set up infrastructure as we do on many things. Infrastructure neglect is the great crime of recent governments of all complexions across the board>
> Do you support or oppose standing order 50?
>
> Are there any local issues you are trying to highlight with your campaign?
The plight of the disabled and their carers. It’s vital for them that the Carers Alliance is elected to the Senate. See Group Y of the voting paper in NSW
> What do you think about the media’s coverage of the election so far?
It’s been dull but they haven’t had much to work with. I can’t remember too many policy discussions. It’s mostly been nonsense. You wouldn’t know the nation’s future’s at stake. It’s dispiriting for those of us who care about our fellow Australians. Once again I urge everyone who has a heart to vote Group Y (the Carers Alliance) in the Senate so that we can push for money to flow to those who have the most urgent need through the introduction of a National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Best regards,

“Let’s have the scientists debate it and take it from there.”
a scientist here, the debate had finnished quite some time ago, sadly we tend to get distracted by all the other things we could be looking into, so we forget to yell at policians for not getting a move on with fixing up the highlighted issues…
general rule: if someone tells you that there is no concensus, or something about faulty studies; they’re probably not qualified to know, on the very off chance they are, they’re probably a HiPPO…
