“The BKoP Team,

What are your thoughts on asylum seekers? While I understand their desire to leave their country the cost to the Australian People of housing, feeding and processing them is unacceptable, the money they pay to the people smugglers would be better spent making a front door application for asylum.

What are your thoughts on stem cell research? Anything that can create cures for some of the diseases people suffer from isa good idea, however there needs to be strict gudlines.

What are your thoughts on campaign finance disclosure? I believe that those people or organisations that donate large sums of money to the political parties are expecting something in return and as such the Australian People have the right to know who these people or organisations are and how much they have donated.

What are your thoughts on climate change? This is a very real issue, but I believe we could look back to an earliert ime in Australia when we didn’t produce so much waste or pollution as part of our attempt to reverse the effects.

What are your thoughts on water? I am opposed to the Governments turning what falls from the sky into a money making item, there is no justifaction for the current cost of water.

Do you support or oppose standing order 50? I haven’t heard of this, so I cannot comment.

Are there any local issues you are trying to highlight with your campaign?

The formation of a new politcal party, the start of a new era in Australian politics

The upgrading of the Cabooture Hospital.
The upgrading of the Bribie Island road and bridge.

The creation of jobs in the local area.
Protect Australian jobs and businesses from overseas interests.
To stop the sale of public assets.
Stop the boat people.
No to workchoices.

Fixed term/date governments.

What do you think about the media’s coverage of the election so far? I believe, naturally enough that the media is focussing to much on the 2 major parties and not giving enough coverage to independent candidates like me, who run to try and fix the problems that the Liberal and Labour governments have not fixed.
