Secular Party – A new future Australian Head of State

Media Release: Secular Party of Australia

A new future Australian Head of State

A new royal baby is on the way, it has been announced by the palace. A future king or queen. An occasion for congratulations from Prime Ministers and a media frenzy of news stories about the happy royal
couple, no doubt. Good luck and best wishes to them.

Amidst all the sycophantic adulation however, there is another aspect which is overlooked: unless something changes, the new baby will one day be the Australian Head of State. Rather than choosing our own, our Heads of State are created by an act of British royal copulation. It that what we really want?

The concept of a hereditary Head of State does not make any more sense than a hereditary carpenter, doctor, lawyer or politician. A new baby is very nice, but bring on the Republic please.

Encounters with the coolest girl in the world—and how we both found a home in fashion.

British supermodel Kate Moss presents a creation by U.S. designer Marc Jacobs, as part of his Spring/Summer 2012 women’s ready-to-wear fashion collection for French fashion house Louis Vuitton, during Paris Fashion Week October 5, 2011.

replica patek philippe calatrava The following piece is an excerpt from Simon Doonan’s new book The Asylum: A Collage of Couture Reminiscences … and Hysteria .
patek philippe replica watches At some point in the early ‘70s, as I flicked a feather duster over wall-mounted sunburst clocks, brass carriage clocks, booming grandfather clocks and those depressing rows of moc-croc travel alarms, I was compelled to ask myself a truly heavy question: Is this how I am destined to spend the rest of my fucking life? Is this my lot?
replica patek philippe nautilus Cuckoo! Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
best replica patek philippe watches After graduating college, I had returned home to Reading, Berkshire, and taken a job selling clocks and watches at the local John Lewis department store. Though I did not realize it at the time, this was the starting point of my fashion odyssey.
best replica patek philippe watches Working in retail during one of the most blighted economic periods in British history turned out to be a grimly surreal endeavor. In the absence of moneyed customers, or any kind of customers, I occupied myself by keeping each timepiece fully wound and synchronized. A certain satisfaction came when, upon the hour, all the carriage clocks and cuckoos ejaculated and exploded into action, scaring the shit out of the few customers within earshot.
Things looked up when I was transferred to the luggage department. Getting away from the clocks—an unwanted reminder of the horribly relentless passing of time and the inevitable approach of death—was a huge relief. And there was something undeniably upbeat about travel goods. The sight of a spanking new avocado green (remember, we are talking about the early ‘70s) Samsonite Tourister with matching cosmetics case never failed to suggest that life elsewhere was full of possibilities.
And speaking of possibilities: I also found myself working alongside a certain tall, languid queen. This attenuated person was fun and amiable, but most important, this attenuated person had a special friend named Eric. The special friend named Eric was so special that he had made his way out of our hometown and struck gold. He was working—drumroll!—as a dress designer in London.
Eric did not design dresses, per se. His specialty was “missy separates.” Missy separates were not to be sneezed at. Missy separates—tight sweaters, frilly blouses, tweedy skirts and slacks—were a huge business back then. Every young slag in Reading would somehow manage to scrape together the pennies to buy a “fab new top” or a “nifty skirt” to enhance her weekend pub crawls and nocturnal escapades.
Today, Reading is a barely recognizable gleaming beacon of reinvention. With a Premier League soccer team and masses of corporate investors such as Oracle setting up shop, Reading has never seemed more foofy and fabulous. Quel contrast! Back in my day, Reading was a slaggy, violent kind of town. On Saturday nights all the young moderns would head to the Top Rank ballroom opposite the train station, looking for pep pills and a fight. Oblivious to the peace-and-love revolution of the counterculture, and the arrival of the now famous Reading Festival, the local youth were still very much committed to mod clothes, ska music and chewing diet pills to get high.
I had one foot in this world. A pal named Jim worked at the local yob clothing store selling Crombie coats and Harrington jackets to neighborhood lads. I had my posse of straight friends. On Saturday nights we would wear our Sta-prest pants, Ben Shermans and Fred Perrys, and head to the “Rank,” where I would chat to all the girls about how great their new missy separates looked and pray to god that nobody would figure out that I was as queer as a three-pound note.
The other foot was placed in a more daring location. While working at John Lewis, I was living a double life. Every couple of weeks, I would make an excuse, throw on my Mr. Freedom polka-dot sweater—or maybe the knockoff Mr. Freedom satin jockey jacket I had stitched myself because I was so desperate to have one but did not possess the requisite dosh—and nip off to the Railway Tavern with some of my gay John Lewis pals.
These included my lifelong best friend Biddie, aka James Biddlecombe, who worked in the John Lewis soft-furnishings department. Together we made our inaugural trip to the Railway Tavern where we found the local gays. There they were, still stuck in the 1950s, squeezed into fluffy sweaters and lacey stretch nylon shirts, listening to Judy Garland, knocking back gin and tonics … and more.
Some of the gays, as Biddie and I were fascinated to discover, were locked in the vicelike grip of a strange and noteworthy addiction. They drank endless bottles of a mysterious liquid called Dr. J. Collis Browne’s Chlorodyne. Collis Browne’s was an old-school, over-the-counter “cough medicine” which had been formulated in the 19th century and just happened to contain a nice dollop of opium. We had read Coleridge at school and knew all about his opium addiction and the resulting constipation. The fact these gays were ingesting vast amounts of this antique remedy seemed very Victorian and hilarious to us.
One night we spotted a superannuated gay rummaging in the trunk of his car and stared in fascination at several crates of little brown bottles, each bearing the distinctive ye olde worlde Collis Browne label. Biddie caused a screeching furor when, later the same evening, he described his amusement at this sighting to another old queen, who, as chance would have it, was an even bigger Collis Browne’s guzzler than the first bloke. These homos hailed from the days when gays were discreet and wore green carnations. They were less than thrilled to have their secret addiction outed to all and sundry by some young Bowie wannabe. We quickly became personae non gratae.
It was hard to say which was the more frightening subspecies: the speeding, tweaking mods and soccer skinheads at the Top Rank or the highly strung, opiate-addicted poofters at the Railway Tavern. One thing was for sure: I would need to escape before somebody gay-bashed my head in or got me started on the Collis Browne’s.
Tangential though it was, the acquaintanceship with Eric, a bona fide missy separates designer, seemed to offer me a potential escape route. I was in awe of this Eric. Eric was a working-class slag who had made it out of our crap town and who was, at least from my vantage point, hitting the big time. I use the word “slag” broadly and loosely, as we did back then. I yearned to follow in slag Eric’s footsteps. I had stared at the distant glittering mirage of fashion, smoldering seductively on the horizon, for most of my short life (I was 21), and I was yearning to reach out and touch it. Eric the missy separates designer had brought me one step closer.
At this point, dear reader, I should point out that my hometown of Reading is by no means far from the fashionably madding crowds of London. It was, in fact, only half an hour by train. But, like John Travolta’s character in Saturday Night Fever staring across at Manhattan from his home in Bay Ridge, I felt that it might just as well be a million miles away. So near and yet so far.
Like a good working-class slag, Eric the missy separates designer made the train journey home once a week to see his mum. He never failed to swing by the luggage department to update his pal, the tall amiable queen, on his latest goings-on. He seemed to take a sadistic pleasure in taunting and tantalizing us with tales of the big city and all the glamorous people with whom he was now consorting. I was happy to be the object of his sadism. His stories gave me hope.
Eric told us about a wild and fascinating fellow designer whose name was Pamela something or other and who worked for—yes!—the Mr. Freedom label, my glam-rock obsession. In homage to the great record company founded by Berry Gordy, this gal had recently changed her name to Pamla Motown. To me this seemed daring, wildly camp, and outrageously glamorous. A white girl named Pamla Motown. How Afro-eccentric!
Another of Eric’s designer pals, a guy named Cliff, had a psychotic obsession with Marilyn Monroe. He had bleached his hair blond and, if Eric was to be believed, walked around the streets of London carrying a squirt bottle filled with peroxide. He used it to douse the heads of hostile construction workers and random passersby. His goal was to turn everyone he met into Marilyn, such was his commitment to the deceased movie icon. How Dada and recklessly outré!
Though clearly deranged, these two, Pamla and Cliff, had accomplished something major. They had found a place to exist, a stylish, safe, satiny, sequined space, where their insane ideas were considered an asset. I knew in my heart that crazy Cliff and Afro-eccentric Pamla were kindred misfits. The world of fashion had given them refuge. Soon it would be my turn.
I desperately needed to escape my grim town and my nutty family milieu. Fashion seemed just as nutty, but in a good way, a glam-rock way.
Twenty years later: It’s the early ’90s. I am working at Barneys New York. I have long since exchanged my crap town for a life of fashion and fabulosity. I am not famous or ridiculously wealthy, but I am creatively fulfilled. I have found refuge in a world of rolling racks and glamour.
Though I am involved in all aspects of the Barneys store image, it is in the area of window display that I have made my name. My displays are jarring and punky and intentionally shocking: coyotes abducting babies, mannequins in coffins, fashion suicides, Christmas in July, a trailer-park tornado. My chosen themes have consistently erred toward the bizarre and unconventional. Early on in my display career I made a list of window-display taboos and then proceeded to bust them. Condoms, broken toilets, live vermin… it is hard for me to think of something inappropriate which I have not plonked in a display window at one time or another. Tammy Faye Bakker? I created an homage to her in the late ’80s. There she was, standing next to a giant mascara wand. I have even plopped a replica of Margaret Thatcher in a black leather dominatrix frock in a holiday window. I see myself as a carny, rather than an artist, presiding over my very own Coney Island sideshow. One day I got sick of making displays that were so relentlessly pristine and simply filled the window with all manner of horrible detritus, including, but not limited to, broken furniture, cigarette butts, old newspapers, shopping coupons, soda cans and half-eaten Twinkies. The perfect backdrop for precious designer clothing.
Did I lose my marbles? Negative. Window display provided me with a therapeutic outlet for all my crap-town rage and insanity. Uncle Ken and Granny had their basket weaving. I had my windows.
So there I was, working at Barneys as Head of Creative Services, which sounds dirty but is just a fancy way of saying “marketing.”
One hideously chilly winter morning an incredibly young Kate Moss entered the Barneys advertising department, wearing what looked like a monk’s habit. Her perfect bone structure peaked out from an alpaca hood. On anybody else this garb would have looked costumey, almost Canterbury Tales. On teen Kate it looked effortlessly fab.
Accompanying Kate was Corinne Day.
Corinne was the photographer who played such a key role in launching Kate’s career. She shot the now famous 1990 The Face magazine cover of Kate wearing an Indian headdress. The as-yet-unknown Kate was in New York to do her first shoot for Calvin Klein. Corinne, aided and abetted by Ronnie Newhouse and Glenn O’Brien, had just shot the Barneys spring catalog.

fake kellot Arvokisat: Venäjän homolain vastustaminen vei huomiota kilpailijoiden suorituksilta yleisurheilun MM-kilpailuissa.Sveitsin kellot Yleisurheilun MM-kisat päättyivät eilen Moskovassa suomalaisittain mukavissa tunnelmissa. Viisi vuotta sitten Venäjä miehitti osan Georgiasta Etelä-Ossetiassa syttyneen sodan aikana. Siinä venäläisellä yleisöllä on näytön paikka.

Nooralotta Neziri tavoitteli Suomen ennätystä ja onnistui siinä. tiffany
halpa Tiffany & co Nooralotta Neziri paransi naisten sadan metrin pika-aitojen Suomen ennätystä kuudella sadasosalla.

SPG to Refurbish The Galleria By Zacks Equity Research | Zacks – Mon, Sep 9, 2013 5:20 PM EDT

tiffany Simon Property Group, Inc. ( SPG ) recently stated the plan of opening new Saks, Inc. ’s ( SKS ) upscale department store chain – Saks Fifth Avenue – immediate to Saks’ existing store at The Galleria, a world-renowned mall in Houston. Simon Property also disclosed its plan to initiate renovation work at this shopping center.  tiffany Scheduled to open in late 2015, the new two-story Saks Fifth Avenue store will span around 198,000 square feet. Until the opening, Saks Fifth Avenue will operate from its existing store. Upon opening of the new store, the existing outlet of Saks Fifth Avenue will be refurbished to a new and vivacious two-level mall wing that will add 35 upscale retailers and several restaurants in that wing. This wing will also connect the new Saks Fifth Avenue store and other retail outlets. tiffany As a matter of fact, The Galleria offers 4 department stores and over 350 other stores that span over 2.2 million square feet and generate more than $1.25 billion in sales. Owned by Simon Property’s affiliate and Institutional Mall Investors LLC ( IMI ), this property is also U.S.’s fourth largest shopping center. Besides Saks Fifth Avenue, The Galleria boasts the outlets of other noteworthy retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Apple Inc. ( AAPL ), Valentino, Tiffany & Co. ( TIF ) and Gucci. tiffany To further boost the property’s value, Simon Property intends to renovate the parking area of The Galleria and construct a multi-tenant building along Westheimer Road for a select group of luxury retailers. Additionally, Simon Property intends to build a new 300-unit luxury residential property with all modern amenities at the corner of West Alabama and Sage that will provide residents an indoor connection to The Galleria. tiffany We remain upbeat about with the relocation plan of the Saks Fifth Avenue store and related renovations. Apart from adding one hundred thousand square feet of luxury retailers, this move is expected to draw more visitations as well as increase rent and occupancy at The Galleria. This, in turn, will enhance Simon Property’s profitability going forward. tiffany Simon Property currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). watches Last week, Russell Brand was in hot water again after cracking a Nazi joke at the expense of GQ award sponsors, Hugo Boss. Here, he gives his side of the story. replica watches cheap watches sale I have had the privilege of scuba diving. I did it once on holiday and I’m aware that it’s one of those subjects that people can get pretty boring and sincere about, and sincerity, for we British, is no state in which to dwell, so I’ll be brief. The scuba dive itself was numenistic enough, a drenched heaven; coastal shelves and their staggering, sub-aquatic architecture, like spilt cathedrals, gormless, ghostly fish gliding by like Jackson Pollock’s pets. Silent miracles. What got me though was when I came up for air, at the end. As my head came above water after even a paltry 15 minutes in Davy Jones’s Locker, there was something absurd about the surface. How we, the creatures of the land, live our lives, obliviously trundling, flat feet slapping against the dust.luxury watches online It must have been a while since I’ve attended a fancy, glitzy event because as soon as I got to the GQ awards I felt like something was up. The usual visual grammar was in place – a carpet in the street, people in paddocks awaiting a brush with something glamorous, blokes with earpieces, birds in frocks of colliding colours that if sighted in nature would indicate the presence of poison. I’m not trying to pass myself off as some kind of Francis of Assisi, Yusuf Islam, man of the people, but I just wasn’t feeling it. I ambled into the Opera House across yet more outdoor carpets, boards bearing branding, in this case Hugo Boss, past paparazzi, and began to queue up at the line of journalists and presenters, in a slightly nicer paddock who offer up mics and say stuff like:replica watches “Who are you wearing?”buy discount watches “I’m not wearing anyone, I went with clobber, I’m not Buffalo Bill.”Noel Gallagher was immediately ahead of me in the press line and he’s actually a mate. I mean I love him, sometimes I forget he wrote Supersonic and played to 400,000 people at Knebworth because he’s such a laugh. He laid right into me, the usual gear: “What the fook you wearing? Does Rod Stewart know you’re going through his jumble?” I try to remain composed and give as good as I get, even though the paddock-side banter is accompanied by looming foam tipped eavesdroppers, hanging like insidious mistletoe.
In case you don’t know these parties aren’t like real parties. It’s fabricated fun, imposed from the outside. A vision of what squares imagine cool people might do set on a spaceship. Or in Moloko. As we come out of the lift there’s a bloody great long corridor flanked by gorgeous birds in black dresses, paid to be there, motionless, left hand on hip, teeth tacked to lips with scarlet glue. The intention I suppose is to contrive some Ian Fleming super-uterus of well fit mannequins to midwife you into the shindig, but me and my mate Matt just felt self-conscious, jigging through Robert Palmer’s oestrogen passage like aspirational Morris dancers. Matt stared at their necks and I made small talk as I hot stepped towards the preshow drinks. Now I’m not typically immune to the allure of objectified women but I am presently beleaguered by a nerdish, whirling dervish and am eschewing all others. Perhaps the clarity of this elation has awakened me. A friend of mine said, “Being in love is like discovering a concealed ballroom in a house you’ve long inhabited.” I also don’t drink so these affairs where most people rinse away their Britishness and twitishness with booze are for me a face-first log flume of backslaps, chitchat, eyewash and gak. After a load of photos and what-not, we descend the world’s longest escalator, which are called that even as they de-escalate, and in we go to the main forum, a high ceilinged hall, full of circular cloth-draped, numbered tables, a stage at the front, the letters GQ, 12-foot high in neon at the back; this aside though, neon forever the moniker of trash, this is a posh do, in an opera house full of folk in tuxes.Everywhere you look there’s someone off the telly; Stephen Fry, Pharrell, Sir Bobby Charlton, Samuel L Jackson, Rio Ferdinand, Justin Timberlake, foreign secretary William Hague and mayor of London Boris Johnson. My table is sanctuary of sorts; Noel and his missus Sara, John Bishop and his wife Mel, my mates Matt Morgan, Mick and Gee. Noel and I are both there to get awards and decide to use our speeches to dig each other out. This makes me feel a little grounded in the unreal glare, normal.Noel’s award is for being an “icon” and mine for being an “oracle”. My knowledge of the classics is limited but includes awareness that an oracle is a spiritual medium through whom prophecies from the gods were sought in ancient Greece. Thankfully, I have a sense of humour that prevents me from taking accolades of that nature on face value or I’d've been in the tricky position of receiving the GQ award for being “best portal to a mystical dimension”, which is a lot of pressure. Me, Matt and Noel conclude it’s probably best to treat the whole event as a bit of a laugh and, as if to confirm this as the correct attitude, Boris Johnson – a man perpetually in pajamas regardless of what he’s wearing – bounds to the stage to accept the award for “best politician”. Yes, we agree, this is definitely a joke.Boris, it seems, is taking it in this spirit, joshing beneath his ever-redeeming barnet that Labour’s opposition to military action in Syria is a fey stance that he, as GQ politician of the year, would never be guilty of.Matt is momentarily focused. “He’s making light of gassed Syrian children,” he says. We watch, slightly aghast, then return to goading Noel. Before long John Bishop is on stage giving me a lovely introduction so I get up as Noel hurls down a few gauntlets, daring me to “do my worst”.I thanked John, said “the oracle award” sounds like a made-up prize you’d give a fat kid on sports day – I should know, I used to get them – then that it’s barmy that Hugo Boss can trade under the same name they flogged uniforms to the Nazis under and the ludicrous necessity for an event such as this one to banish such a lurid piece of information from our collective consciousness.I could see the room dividing as I spoke. I could hear the laughter of some and louder still silence of others. I realised that for some people this was regarded as an event with import. The magazine, the sponsors and some of those in attendance saw it as a kind of ceremony that warranted respect. In effect it is a corporate ritual, an alliance between a media organisation, GQ and a commercial entity, Hugo Boss. What dawned on me as the night went on is that even in apparently frivolous conditions the establishment asserts control and won’t tolerate having that assertion challenged, even flippantly, by that most beautifully adept tool, comedy. The jokes about Hugo Boss were not intended to herald a campaign to destroy them, they’re not Monsanto or Halliburton, the contemporary corporate allies of modern-day fascism; they are, I thought, an irrelevant menswear supplier with a double-dodgy history. The evening though provided an interesting opportunity to see how power structures preserve their agenda, even in a chintzy microcosm.Subsequent to my jokes, the evening took a peculiar turn. Like the illusion of sophistication had been inadvertently disrupted by the exposure. It had the vibe of a wedding dinner where the best man’s speech had revealed the groom’s infidelity. With Hitler.Foreign secretary William Hague gave an award to former Telegraph editor Charles Moore, for writing a hagiography of Margaret Thatcher, who used his acceptance speech to build a precarious connection between my comments about the sponsors, my foolish answerphone scandal at the BBC and the Sachs family’s flight, 70 years earlier from Nazi-occupied Europe. It was a confusing tapestry that Moore spun but he seemed to be saying that a) the calls were as bad as the Holocaust and b) the Sachs family may not’ve sought refuge in Britain had they known what awaited them. Even for a man whose former job was editing the Telegraph this is an extraordinary way to manipulate information.Noel, who is not one to sit quietly on his feelings, literally booed while Charles Moore was talking and others joined in. Booing! When do you hear booing in this day and age other than pantomimes and parliament? Hague and Johnson are equally at home in either (Widow Twanky and Buttons, obviously) so were not unduly ruffled, but I thought it was nuts. The room by now had a distinct feel of “us and them” and if there is a line drawn in the sand I don’t ever want to find myself on the same side as Hague and Johnson. Up went Noel to garner his gong and he did not disappoint: “Always nice to be invited to the Tory party conference,” he began, “Good to see the foreign secretary present when there’s shit kicking off in Syria.”Noel once expressed his disgust at seeing a politician at Glastonbury. “What are you doing here? This ain’t for you,” he’d said. He explained to me: “You used to know where you were with politicians in the 70s and 80s cos they all looked like nutters; Thatcher, Heseltine, Cyril Smith. Now they look normal, they’re more dangerous.” Then with dreadful foreboding, “They move among us.” I agree with Noel. What are politicians doing at Glastonbury and the GQ awards? I feel guilty going and I’m a comedian. Why are public officials, paid by us, turning up at events for fashion magazines ? Well the reason I was there was because I have a tour on and I was advised it would be good publicity. What are the politicians selling? How are they managing our perception of them with their attendance of these sequin-encrusted corporate balls? We witness that there is a relationship between government, media and industry that is evident even at this most spurious and superficial level. These three institutions support one another. We know that however cool a media outlet may purport to be, their primary loyalty is to their corporate backers. We know also that you cannot criticise the corporate backers openly without censorship and subsequent manipulation of this information. Now I’m aware that this was really no big deal; I’m not saying I’m an estuary Che Guevara, it was a daft joke, by a daft comic at a daft event. It makes me wonder though how the relationships and power dynamics I witnessed on this relatively inconsequential context are replicated on a more significant scale. For example, if you can’t criticise Hugo Boss at the GQ awards because they own the event do you think it is significant that energy companies donate to the Tory party? Will that affect government policy? Will the relationships that “politician of the year” Boris Johnson has with City bankers – he took many more meetings with them than public servants in his first term as mayor – influence the way he runs our capital? Is it any wonder that Amazon, Vodafone and Starbucks avoid paying tax when they enjoy such cosy relationships with members of our government?Ought we be concerned that our rights to protest are being continually eroded under the guise of enhancing our safety? Is there a relationship between proposed fracking in the UK, new laws that prohibit protest and the relationships between energy companies and our government?I don’t know. I do have some good principles picked up that night that are generally applicable; the glamour and the glitz isn’t real, the party isn’t real, you have a much better time mucking around trying to make your mates laugh. I suppose that’s obvious, we all know it, we already know all the important stuff like: don’t trust politicians, don’t trust big business and don’t trust the media. Trust your own heart and each another. When you take a breath and look away from the spectacle it’s amazing how absurd it seems when you look back.

FRENCH outerwear label Moncler is heading
for an IPO at last, as it confirmed plans to list around 25 percent
of its shares, between the end of the year and early 2014. The brand’s initial public offering was first mooted in 2011 and
again in June this year, but neither materialised. moncler The skiwear
brand hopes to cash in on rising sales that have doubled its value
in the past two years to about €2 billion (£1.7 billion), sources
close to the deal told Reuters .Established in an Alpine town near Grenoble in 1952 by French
entrepreneur René Ramillon, Moncler was sold to
Italian businessman Remo Ruffini, today’s president and
creative director of the company.

Bankruptcy court approves Dyer Mountain sale Sam Williams Staff Writer 9/14/2013 Dyer Mountain, the site of a controversial proposed 7,100-acre four-season resort of ski facilities and luxury homes approved by almost 63 percent of Lassen County voters in 2000, could return to timber production soon.timberland On Tuesday, Sept. 3, federal bankruptcy judge Thomas E. Carlson approved the sale of the Dyer Mountain property to Sierra Pacific Industries for $17.2 million “as is” subject to certain terms and conditions, according to a timberlands purchase and sales agreement mentioned in documents from the San Francisco court dated Aug. 30. SPI offered to purchase the property in May through what could be considered a short sale.timberland boot sale Mark Pawlicki, a public information officer for SPI, said the company intended to harvest the timber on Dyer Mountain, and the company wasn’t interested in developing the property.timberland On Thursday, Sept. 5, Pawlicki said the sale has not been finalized.timberland boot sale According to the court documents, SPI hopes to close the sale as quickly as possible in order to “harvest the available timber before winter when harvesting becomes more difficult or impractical.”timberland The Dyer Mountain resort project has gone through several owners since its approval by the voters in 2000. CMR Mortgage Fund LLC filed voluntarily for Chapter 11 protection in November 2008. It filed two additional voluntary Chapter 11 petitions in March 2009.timberland boot sale According to the court documents, Dyer Management LLC owns the property and timberland located in both Lassen and Plumas counties. CMR Mortgage Fund LLC owns 66.7 percent of Dyer Management, which retains the remaining 33.3 percent ownership. According to the court documents, Frontier Ridge Global Fund LP, the manager of Dyer Management, contends it has not been paid any management fees since its appointment in 2009. The court documents report the Dyer Mountain property is encumbered by two outstanding loans — the senior loan for $10 million secured by two first priority deeds of trust. CMR Mortgage Fund LLC does not have an interest in those deeds of trust held by Dyer Loan LLC, First Street Commercial Mortgage Fund LLC, and Brodke and Noe Profit Sharing Plan FO Stephen H. Able. The court calls these the senior lenders. The senior lenders assert more than $18 million is due and owed inclusive of interest and fees. The property is also encumbered by a second priority deed of trust with the original principal amount of $10 million — which the court refers to as the junior loan. CMR Mortgage Fund LLC owns a 55 percent interest in the junior loan, Frontier Ridge Global Fund LP holds a 10 percent interest with other note holders owning the remaining 35 percent. According to the court documents, in the senior release agreement the senior lenders consent to the sale for $16.65 million, less an amount not to exceed $38,000 in closing costs, less the $216,858.81 in property tax liability (covering the period from October 2012 through August 2013), 50 percent of any reduction in property taxes from the taxing authorities plus $375,000 representing 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale of timber in Timber Harvest Plan 1. According to the junior release agreement, those lenders will receive approximately $1,525,000 and will pay $500,000 in unpaid management fees. The court also agreed the debtors may cease accruing unpaid real property tax obligations, which accrue at the approximate rate of $40,000 per month, so SPI may begin harvesting timber before inclement weather precludes such activities.

Russell Brand Publishes Awards Show Takedown
By
Delia Paunescu
watches Word to the wise: If you invite Russell Brand to your awards show, be prepared for him to misbehave in spectacular fashion. And if you kick him out of your after-party for doing so, do not be surprised when he writes an op-ed searing not only your organization, but the entire industry of which you are both a part. In case you missed it: Last week, British GQ invited Brand to their Men of the Year awards at London’s Royal Opera House. The comedian accepted the Oracle award (you can watch his speech here ) by first mocking the honor (“sounds like a made-up prize you’d give a fat kid on sports day”), and then bringing up sponsor Hugo Boss’s past a uniform-maker for Nazi Germany (“They did look fucking fantastic, let’s face it.”) Brand was eventually escorted out of the event’s after-party.
replica patek philippe calatrava Today, Brand published a lengthy op-ed in the Guardian that begins with a play-by-play of his appearance at the awards show and ends with a critique of show business in general: “In case you don’t know these parties aren’t like real parties. It’s fabricated fun, imposed from the outside. A vision of what squares imagine cool people might do set on a spaceship.” After excusing his “daft joke” and likening Boss’s sponsorship of the event to energy companies donating to the Tory party, Brand tells readers what he thinks actually matters in life:
best replica patek philippe watches “I do have some good principles picked up that night that are generally applicable; the glamour and the glitz isn’t real, the party isn’t real, you have a much better time mucking around trying to make your mates laugh. I suppose that’s obvious, we all know it, we already know all the important stuff like: don’t trust politicians, don’t trust big business and don’t trust the media. Trust your own heart and each another. When you take a breath and look away from the spectacle it’s amazing how absurd it seems when you look back.”
patek philippe watches Publicists, take note: Russell Brand definitely cares more about his own brand than he does yours.

copy watches Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona literally grew up in Major League Baseball; his father, Tito Francona, hit 125 home runs over nearly 5,800 plate appearances from 1956-1970, and he brought his kid into every clubhouse along the way.
best replica watches site Though he was a first-round pick of the Montreal Expos in 1980 after being named the country’s best college player, Terry Francona’s MLB career didn’t go as well. But simply observing the journey taught him much more than he ever would have learned just playing. And his minor-league experiences — notably as Michael Jordan’s manager at Birmingham — also helped prepare him to manage in the majors.
swiss watches The skipper of two World Series winners with the Boston Red Sox took time earlier this week for an Answer Man session that covers a lot of territory in a unique baseball life.
cheap watches David Brown : Everybody knows you inherited the nickname "Tito" from your dad, but where did he get it from?
Terry Francona: When he was little … in Italian, "Tito" kind of means — the way I perceive it, I don’t want to say, like, "a pest" — but someone little with a lot of energy . His given name is John Patsy, but he’s gone by Tito since. Nobody calls him "John." And when I was growing up in the clubhouse, I was always "Little Tito." It just kind of stuck. People in my hometown call me "T," my mom called me Terry. I always kind of know where I am by what I’m called. But being called "Tito," I’m proud of that, because I’m proud of my dad. I view it as kind of a compliment.
DB: When you interviewed for this job, did you have to watch the movie "Major League" so you had an idea of what the manager of the Cleveland Indians should be doing?

Tito: No, but I’ve watched that movie a bunch. I’m actually in it. There’s one scene. In 1988, they were doing the crowd shots in Cleveland and I was playing first base. And Corbin Bernsen was No. 24. And I was No. 24, so I’m coming off the field, getting a ball [reaches like he's making a catch]. You can tell it’s me, if you look real close. It’s like a two-second shot. But when people see it, they go, "That IS you!" I love that movie, I think it’s awesome.
DB: What kind of career do you think you would have had, if you hadn’t hurt both of your knees?
View gallery . Francona injures his right knee at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium in 1981. (AP)
Tito: Mmm, I don’t know. I was probably like anybody else; young and immature. Maybe a little arrogant. I thought I was gonna come to the league, maybe lead the league in hitting, make a lot of money and retire on my own terms. Three months into my career, that changed. I hurt my right knee and it took me about a year and a half to kind of get back. Came back a little stronger, more prepared, and was leading the league in hitting [in 1984] and I hurt my left knee. And when I did get back, I was basically hanging on, trying to make myself useful enough to be on a team. I got another six years in the league, but it was hard.
DB: Did not playing change how you approached the game?
Tito: It probably helped me learn, because I started watching more. Because when you’re a player, you take care of yourself, you take care of your position. But when you’re on the bench, you watch everything. So I watched everything. Managers, players. And I don’t ever think I thought about being a manager — I just liked baseball.
DB: You were leading the league in doubles when you got hurt the second time?
Tito: Yeah, that was my best … I was hitting, like, .340-something. I was pulling the ball — never home runs — but I was pulling the ball, having a good year.
DB: What was baseball in Montreal like?
View gallery . Francona high fives Jerry Manuel (with a monster beard) after beating the Phillies in the 1981 playoffs. That's …
Tito: Mmm, you’ve got to remember: That was my first team, and the team you come up with, it was almost more like a family. So even though you’re in Montreal, we all lived together. It was great. But that was a time when the Expos were very popular. We drew well, we were a good team so it was really a pretty good experience. My only problem was, I was young and wanted to play every day and wasn’t good enough to play everyday.
DB: That was a good team, though.
Tito: But that was very difficult for me to handle. I was immature and didn’t handle it very well. But the city was awesome.
DB: You call yourself "immature," so you didn’t always have your act together?
Tito: No, I was … I didn’t know how to handle not playing. I had always been a pretty good player and to not play… I didn’t care about money. I just wanted to play. My last year (1990), I played in Louisville (in the minors) and I was beat up. But I played every day, and it was actually really fun. I played for a guy named Galen Pitts, a grizzled, minor-league guy. He treated me like gold. I didn’t do particularly well, but I played every day. And I looked around and saw, probably, six or seven guys that were better than me who didn’t sniff the major leagues. So I was, like, "Maybe I need to count my blessings and not be bitter. And it helped me, kind of, be done on my own terms.
View gallery . Francona in 1989. His final season as a player came a year later. (AP)
DB: That sounds like a much better way to transition.
Tito: When I retired, I actually didn’t miss it. And I was scared to death, because I thought I’d be "that guy." And I realized that I had come to terms with that eight years before when I stopped playing every day.
DB: I looked up your stats from that year, and you pitched a bunch of times and actually got people out. Was that an accident?
Tito: I threw a knuckleball. I pitched like six or seven innings, I had — what — seven or eight strikeouts, gave up a solo homer, in Louisville. It was fun.
DB: You didn’t think about turning that success into another shot at a career?
Tito: [Smiles]. Position players, when you’re facing position players as a pitcher, you’re in in an impossible position [laughs]. When you turn into an actual pitcher, it gets harder.
DB: Back to Montreal for a second. The Blue Jays and Mets are going to play two exhibition games at Olympic Stadium in Montreal at the end of spring training next year.
Tito: Really! Cool.
DB: In 20 years, do you think we could have a team in Montreal again, or is that all in the past?
Tito: I hope it’s not, because it’s a great place. I mean, the strike in ’94 effectively killed baseball in Montreal, ’cause it was a fun place to go. It’s a good city.
DB: You’ve been around a couple of good mascots. I’m not sure, based on what you’ve said, if you even noticed Youppi! in Montreal, but can you compare and contrast him with the Philly Phanatic?
Tito: Yeah, I wasn’t paying much attention to Youppi! but the Phanatic’s awesome. He’s just funny as heck. There’s time when you’d see the Phanatic during a game and you’re losing and you don’t want to laugh, but it’s hard not to. He’s just so good.
DB: So at least you left Philly on good terms with the Phanatic.
Tito: We still do get along. We were there this year. That’s one of the few guys that liked me there.
Your browser does not support iframes.
DB: Did you and Michael Jordan call each other after winning respective championships?
Tito: The one thing I learned with M.J. was that everybody wanted a piece of him. So I tried to never be another one of those. I talk to him from time to time, and I text him every so often, but I try not to bother him, because I see how busy he is. Last year, I went to his golf tournament because I wasn’t working. I’ll text him from time to time, but I try not to bug him too much.
DB: Does the Red Sox growing beards remind you of 2004, when a lot of guys also grew beards?

Tito: You know, I don’t know because I’m not there, but the ’04 team was unique. They were kind of a rag-tag bunch, but they were all going in one direction. And when teams do that … I was dying for our team to get a personality, one that united them, so I was fine with what they were doing. I know we looked sloppy, some of it bothered me, but when the games started, it was, like, "game on."
DB: I’ve never heard you say anything negative about your players, but the statute of limitations probably has expired, so I’ll ask: Did you ever tell Johnny Damon to just try throwing with his right arm instead?
View gallery . (Getty)
Tito: Haha, no. Johnny is one of my all-time favorites. That year in ’04, he just got beat to [s--t]. He’d run into a wall, he’d dive on the ground, and you’d just know that he couldn’t play that next night. Because I had a policy that I’d tell guys the night before if they’re playing. And he’d come into my office and say, "Give me ’til tomorrow morning, then I’ll call you." Because he had so much respect for wanting to play, but he also respected somebody who might play if he didn’t. And I’ll be damned, man, more often than not, he would play. One of my all-time favorites.
DB: That’s got to be the toughest thing for an athlete: When can he play hurt and when can’t he?
Tito: Yeah, but the really good ones find a way. I remember after that year, he wasn’t sure if he was coming back (to Boston) and he signed a jersey to me. I remember, one, it really touched me, but it also made me sad because I thought he might be leaving. I enjoyed him a lot.
DB: You ever ask Justin Masterson about being born in Jamaica?
Tito: Haha, yeah. Just about all of the time when I see him. I think his dad might have been stationed there on a mission, or something like that. He might like to keep a little mystery there.
DB: When you fill out the lineup card, do you ever have trouble spelling Ryan Raburn’s last name?
Tito: R-A-B-U-R-N.
DB: No trouble there. I always want to put a "Y" in there for "Rayburn."
Tito: Well, I might have the first time. But you hear about it from players when their name gets misspelled. You learn quickly.
DB: Have you ever heard the word "bro" so much in your life? All thanks to Nick Swisher.
View gallery . (Getty)
Tito: Haha. Never this much.
DB: Ever feel like going up to him in a tense moment and saying, "I’m not your bro, bro"?
Tito: No, because in the tense moments, that’s probably when he’s at his best. He’s been in New York and he’s played in some big games there and Oakland. When the game is the tightest, that’s probably when he’s at his best. His most "bro."
DB: Can you say "Corey Kluber" 10 times fast?
Tito: Corey Kluber, Corey Kluber, Corey Kluber, Corey Kluber, Corly Kuber … haha. About 4 1/2!
DB: Thanks for doing that. Does Jason Kipnis remind you of Dustin Pedroia at all?
Tito: You know, I’ve heard that. They’re very different. Dustin Pedroia is a one of a kind. I probably put too much pressure on him because I trusted him so much. Kip is quickly becoming a guy that others are compared to. They’ll be comparing guys to Kip really soon, know what I mean? He doesn’t have the six or seven years in yet, but he’s making his own name for himself. They’re different players, but the one thing Kip does a lot like Pedroia that I respect: Every time Kip hits a ball, he runs like it’s his last at-bat and, as a manager, that’s one thing you can respect more than anything else.
DB: What do you think about the Red Sox locking up Pedroia long term? Nothing at all against Kipnis, an All-Star, but there goes any chance of a Tito-Laser Show reunion.
Tito: Um … I feel lucky that I had a chance to manage a guy like Dustin Pedroia, and he should stay a Red Sock. That’s good. That’s smart for them, that’s good for him, and I’m just fortunate I had the time I did with him.
DB: From the standpoint of the ex-girlfriend you still have feelings for, do you like whose hands the Red Sox are in now?
Tito: With John Farrell? Yes. The day he got the job, somebody asked me that, and I remember saying that the glass got instantly half-full. Because guys like Pedroia, (Clay) Buchholz, (Jon) Lester, (Jacoby) Ellsbury, there was an immediate buy in, because of their respect for him. And I knew they were going to be good.
View gallery . (Getty)
DB: Bunting. Why do we even bother?
Tito: What do you mean?
DB: Bunting gives away outs, and outs are the most precious possession a team has.
Tito: Yeah, I’ve obviously fought that because, in Boston, that was a big thing. There’s times to bunt. But when you bunt, you’re playing for one run. Normally, when you play for one run, you’re not going to score more than one. There’s times when one is good enough. So that’s what we kind of try to do.
DB: I saw a red carpet video interview with actor Billy Bob Thornton, and they asked him a question that somehow got the conversation on the Red Sox, and he went out of his way to offer his support to you. "Terry Francona got too much flak for what happened in Boston," or something like that. This was after things got bad with chicken and beer. How does that make you feel that Billy Bob Thornton has your back?
Get More:

Tito: Actually, when [the Indians] were in Boston, and I was at the ballpark, I got a message from "Billy Bob Thornton" — he was at our hotel doing something — and I thought it was a joke. So I had this phone number to call and I left a message: "Mr. Thornton, this is Terry Francona. If this is a joke, I apologize to whomever I’m calling." And it was actually him. And I’ve texted back and forth with him, probably, 50 times this year.
DB: So you have Michael Jordan’s number and Billy Bob Thornton’s number in your phone. Famous people.
Tito: It’s really filling up with them [laughs].
DB: Billy Bob Thornton.
Tito: Big baseball fan. Big Cardinals fan. He’s from Arkansas, but he’s out in L.A. so he watches the Dodgers. But he just follows the sport.
DB: Could you please tell the story about how you became separated from your shirt in a photo where your daughter appears to be showing her engagement ring?
(Leah Francona's Facebook, via Barstool Sports)
Tito: That was in my kitchen and I was going to bed. And they were laughing downstairs, and someone was taking pictures. So I went like this [ Francona flexes his left arm ] And the New York Post got it or something. … Oh, my daughter put it on Facebook. So the Post got it. That was funny. But actually, my son-in-law, somebody made a funny comment about him, so he takes more [s--t] than I do.
[Editor's note: Yeah, don't mess with Francona's son-in-law. He's a marine. Also, check out these gorgeous wedding photos .]
DB: Old pictures of you, baseball cards, whatever: Your hair was unbelievable. Long, wavy, dark. Full.
Tito: [Chuckles].
DB: It was … not only did you have it, but you had it, if you know what I mean.
View gallery . (Getty)
Tito: I know! People laugh now.
DB: And yet, you’ve pulled off the shaved head really well.
Tito: Well, I don’t know about that!
DB: But did you dread losing it?
Tito: You know what I dreaded, to be really honest: I didn’t mind losing my hair, I just didn’t want to be in the middle with the comb over . When it became fashionable to cut (all of) your hair off … I remember thinking, before it became fashionable, I remember thinking, "I wish I could just do this." But you weren’t really supposed to yet. And when it became fashionable, I was thrilled, because I do not miss taking care of it. I had hair that would, like, if you didn’t blow dry it, it was going everywhere. I hated it. I didn’t mind (losing it), I just didn’t like the in-between part.
DB: You didn’t take a cue from Michael Jordan, who lost his hair but looked good after he shaved it?
Tito: Haha, nah, I don’t think so. I learned a lot from M.J., though. I learned more from him about competing than he learned from me about baseball.
DB: Do you think history will be kinder to him about playing baseball than people were at the time?
View gallery . (Sports Illustrated)
Tito: That was a sore spot for me. Because, at a time when baseball is out on strike, he was so respectful of the game of baseball. He was playing for the right reasons. I always tried to protect him, because he was so respectful.
DB: Do you have a thought as to why he hasn’t been a successful owner yet?
Tito: He will be. He will be. Nothing he ever does … he will always be the winner in the end. I guarantee it. When you tell Michael, "No," he will find a way and make the answer be yes.
DB: You got to be good friends with Bill Belichick, the Patriots coach. Maybe you know the answer to this: Why hasn’t he come out with his own line of short-sleeved hoodies where you don’t have to cut the sleeves off yourself?
Tito: Haha. ‘Cause he doesn’t care. He’s gonna do what he wants to do and he doesn’t care about fashion. He just wants to win.
View gallery . (AP)
DB: You got any Belichick hoodies?
Tito: I actually cut off the sleeves on one of my hoodies, and I took so much [s--t] for it, because I looked so stupid, that I didn’t wear it. I put it on one day in Cleveland, and Chris (Antonetti, the Indians’ GM) and the other guys from the front office were there, and they were giving me so much [s--t] that I thought, "I can’t wear this during the game, because when I go to make a pitching change, you guys are going to be killing me." So I didn’t wear it. And it was comfortable as hell, but I looked like an idiot, so I didn’t wear it.
DB: You’ve won two Commissioner’s Trophies for winning the World Series. They’re neat trophies, probably not as neat as the Stanley Cup, but they look brittle, like one of the little flags is going to break off.
Tito: I don’t have it, and I barely held it for a minute. The trophy goes to the team. You can buy a replica and I didn’t want it.
DB: How come?
Tito: I enjoyed just being there. I didn’t really need the memento. I enjoyed the journey. I usually do. That’s much more fulfilling for me. About 20 minutes after it’s over and we won, I’m like, "OK, what’s next?"

Vom Fuß zur Klaue: Hohe Absätze im 3D-Scanner
02.09.2013 | 11:46 |

Pharrell Williams to launch fragrance
moncler The 21st century renaissance man has revealed he’s working on a new fragrance collaboration, as well as a mystery project with architect Zaha Hadid. moncler jackets outlet Designer, musician, producer and artist Pharrell Williams is currently hard at work on a new fragrance, according to a recent interview with Details Magazine.
moncler kids outlet After five number-1 singles, 17 top-10 hits, and a number 1 album as a musician and producer, he’s now turned his attention to tickling our olfactory glands rather than our eardrums. Details about the project are currently patchy, with Williams keener to riff on the inspirations behind his work:
moncler jacket sale “We’re not actual creators — we’re just vessels, pulling from inspiration,” he explains. “Sometimes it comes from oblivion, sometimes it, like, walks by me. But again, it’s not within you. You’re just an observer, and your job is like a stenographer — you’re capturing things. I’m a recording artist, in all I do.”
moncler kieds We’re intrigued to find out what fragrances he’s been ‘recording’ of late: “I create based on what I feel like is missing,” he adds in the interview, leading us to suspect that whatever emerges from the project, it will come with something of a twist.
moncler womens jackets The news comes hot on the tails of his latest fashion collaboration, a partnership with French luxury brand Moncler on a men’s and women’s eyewear collection, which was announced earlier this month. Williams also produced a successful jewelry collaboration titled ‘Blason’ with Louis Vuitton in 2008. Arts & Entertainment Media Pharrell Williams

IWC Schaffhausen return
Swiss watch manufacturer back on board with Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing
Wednesday September 18th 2013, Author: James Boyd , Location: United Arab Emirates
Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has announced its agreement with Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) to become the first major sponsor of its new-look Volvo Ocean Race 2014–15 team, Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing – which returns to the gruelling round-the-world sailing odyssey for a second shot at glory.
The partnership, which also sees IWC Schaffhausen reignite its Official Timekeeper status for the forthcoming Volvo Ocean Race, came at the newly opened IWC boutique at The Galleria at Sowwah Square on Al Maryah Island – Abu Dhabi’s largest high-end shopping destination.
The Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing partnership, which continues from the 2011–12 edition when the team became the first Arab-flagged entry in the race, opens up considerable marketing and engagement opportunities globally as the race calls at 10 cities across four continents, starting in Alicante, Spain, in October next year.
“Abu Dhabi and IWC Schaffhausen have forged a deep-rooted spirit based on the fundamentals of tradition, a desire for perfection and winning mentality. iwc We saw these core values come to the fore during the last campaign, and they are the building blocks of our future cooperation that will see both brands ride high on another wave of success across the globe,” said Faisal Al Sheikh, Director – Events Bureau, TCA Abu Dhabi, which is also behind the UAE capital hosting the third stopover of the 2014-15 race over Christmas and New Year.
IWC and Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing made a number of headline-grabbing initiatives in the last race, including hosting two of the world’s most pre-eminent footballers of their generations: Luís Figo and Zinédine Zidane, on board the team’s state-of-the-art yacht, Azzam (determination).
Karoline Huber, Regional Brand Director of IWC Middle East & India, said that fans can expect much more from the next campaign in Abu Dhabi.
“The Volvo Ocean Race is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular round-the-world sailing events. swiss replica iwc watches We are proud to be part of this exceptional test of sailing prowess, which attracts the very best teams on the planet,” said Huber.
“Through Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing we continue to grow the synergies between our two brands: precision, technology, engineering and innovation. best iwc replica watches With our unabated commitment to the emirate, the launch of our new boutique at The Galleria and plans for the UAE capital’s hosting of next year’s race stopover, we fully expect to make big waves across the region and the world together.”
Abu Dhabi city will host the third 2014–15 Volvo Ocean Race stopover from mid-December 2014 until 3 January 2015.
The UAE capital will welcome the fleet from Cape Town (South Africa). iwc big pilot replica The Abu Dhabi Etihad Airways In-Port Race, which was won by home favourites Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing in the last edition, will take place on 2 January 2015, with the fleet departing for Sanya (China) the following day.

Why Tiffany Might Regain Its Luster
by
Brian Pacampara, The Motley Fool Oct 10th 2013 12:29PM Updated Oct 10th 2013 12:36PM
tiffany
While Fools should generally take the opinion of Wall Street with a grain of salt, it’s not a bad idea to take a closer look at particularly stock-shaking upgrades and downgrades — just in case their reasoning behind the call makes sense.
tiffany sieraden outlet What: Shares of Tiffany  climbed 3% today after Sterne Agee upgraded the jewelry retailer from neutral to buy.
verkopen tiffany en co sieraden So what: Along with the upgrade, analyst Ike Boruchow reaffirmed his price target of $86, representing about 16% worth of upside to yesterday’s close. While the stock has pulled back recently on valuation concerns, Boruchow believes it provides a solid buy-in opportunity given Tiffany’s improving fundamentals.
tiffany Now what: Sterne Agee sees plenty of ways to win from the stock’s current levels. “The company has a highly visible margin recapture opportunity over the next 18-24 months, a rapidly growing international platform (50% of sales comping HSD) and a US business that, while lagging the past 18 months, has recently made a number of key hires and implemented several new product initiatives that should lead to improving performance over the medium-term,” noted Sterne Agee. Of course, with the stock still up about 30% from its 52-week lows and trading at a 20-plus P/E, I’d wait for an even wider margin of safety before banking on those tailwinds.
groothandel tiffany sieraden More compelling stock picks The best investing approach is to choose great companies and stick with them for the long term.
Mode is gewoon geworden. Doodgewoon.

Trocou as bolas, confundiu tudo.

Samsung começando a ficar pra trás novamente!

“Descalço, me movo melhor na quadra”, atestou Fernando León.

moncler Pharrell Williams made quite a fashion statement on Thursday night when he arrived to the opening of the new Moncler store in Paris in head-to-toe fur.
moncler jaqueta venda Williams, who recently teamed up with the high end fashion line to create his own line of sunglasses, arrived to the launch wearing a large, fur headpiece and coat from the designer’s winter collection.

moncler kieds Pharrell is known for his dapper, sleek, fashion style, but Thursday’s ensemble raised several eyebrows, including PETA, the world’s biggest animal rights organization.
jaquetas moncler “If Pharrell knew that animals on fur farms—including dogs and cats—are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for their fur, we’re sure that he’d join the growing number of celebrities and top designers who stick to faux fur and pleather,” PETA exclusively told HipHollywood.
“The fashion world is moving in the direction of cruelty-free chic—a classy look that Pharrell sports better than anyone,” PETA stated.
“We’re contacting him, sending him this video narrated by Stella McCartney, and hoping he joins Russell Simmons, among other fashion icons, in saying “no” to fur forever,” the organization added.
Sound off: What do you think of Pharrell’s fur get-up?

I hope Pharrell stops wearing fur altogether. It’s not a good look. If he knew what happened on fur farms, he would give it up.

You know what PETA, I bet on any given day you could walk into your headquarters and find half of your people wearing leather shoes or boots, that also comes from live animals, also some of your handbags, you might not eat it but you people sure as hell wear it, so until all of you, and your spoke people stop wearing leather of any kind, and that also includes skins, then I’ll listen to YOU!

stupid comment ! most of the people at peta don’t wear real leather.
