The Climate Sceptics – Bob Brown shows the Greens will lead the economy backwards

Minor party The Climate Sceptics have strongly condemned Greens leader Bob Brown after a television appearance in which he repeatedly refused to say he was in favor of economic growth.

Appearing on the SBS Insight program last night, Mr Brown was asked twice if he was in favor of economic growth. Each time he dodged the question.

Leon Ashby, President and South Australian Senate candidate for The Climate Sceptics, has criticized Mr Brown soundly for his remarks.

“This just goes to show the ugly truth behind the rhetoric about “sustainability”,” said Mr Ashby.

“The reality is the Greens don’t want to sustain our economy, they want to shrink it.”

“The Greens want to wipe out the coal industry, the forestry industry, the fishing industry, the farming industry and the mining industry. They want to shut down every coal fired power station in the country.”

“The first job of any government and any serious political party is to ensure the economic growth of the country and provide the right conditions for jobs growth. The refusal of the greens to support such a basic, important goal shows them for the extremists that they are.”
The Centenary medal recipient for services to conservation and the environment concluded ” Its the economic prosperity of a country that then allows it to look after the environment. Voters should realise we have the get our priorities right at this election. The Greens will lead us backwards if they get control of the senate” The Climate Sceptics are the only Party who will criticise the greens for what they are – wolves in sheeps clothing.
