Climate Sceptics – More Australian deaths from Green laws than Vietnam war

Press Release

More Australian deaths from Green laws than Vietnam war

The Climate Sceptics political party has launched a $25,000 TV campaign over the next 10 days across South Australia
highlighting the excessive and illogical green idealogy they say is destroying Australia.

The three TV ads can be viewed here

The Ads have been paid for by the party`s 800 members and are an attempt to resonate with those who know green ideology has caused massive carnage to Australia and know it has gone way too far.

Party President and Lead SA senate candidate Leon Ashby says
“Things like bushfire fuel reduction is stopped by Green laws, so more human lives and wildlife are being tragically lost each year in Australia.
Cropping which is rotated with natural grass regeneration has been banned.
Water ponding and regenerating grassless forests has been outlawed. These laws are preventing farming ecosystems from staying healthy.”

The Former Landcare secretary adds
“We have already seen water rights being removed in many irrigation areas and rural communities falling apart as a result.
When businesses fail more marriages breakup and more suicides occur.”

“A Qld property rights group recently claimed 554 farmers that have suicided due to the unjust green laws coming into force around Australia.
The laws make landholders spend years trying to comply with regulations which the departments keep changing so reasonable developments get stalled forever.
The photo in the TV ad is one of the latest suicide victims. If the total of 554 is correct, then that is more than all the Australian deaths in the Vietnam war (520)” he added

Mr Ashby has family connections in fishing and says “In SA and on the East coast of Australia Marine parks are being proposed to restrict fishermen out of large areas of the coastline. These moves are beyond what is a reasonable and scientific approach and whatever gets brought in today will then be overruled and even more restrictions will come in later on. Its stealth by gradualism”.

With just two weeks of the campaign remaining the Climate sceptics are now trying to let voters know what they stand for (beyond being sceptical that CO2 drives Global warming).
The outspoken Mt Gambier landholder has experienced the pointy end of extreme Green ideology when he lost his rights to continue his award winning water spreading work in Qld in 2000″
“Landholders were not allowed input into the laws. They came in overnight and green laws are getting worse since then” he says. In Qld, the laws have changed so you are assumed guilty and you have to prove your innocense. I would expect that approach will become standard across Australia in the next decade if we don`t stop it now.

Mr Ashby believes its time for the green carnage to stop and for common sense to prevail on issues.
We believe a line in the sand must be drawn on the advance of over zealous green laws so our farmers, fishers and foresters can have confidence to provide the backbone of our economy
We believe there are common sense solutions to all our issues. People in these industries often have the solutions – but they are not listened to buy our governments, – Only the green zealots get listened to and this includes the false belief that CO2 causes global warming”.

The Climate Sceptics have decided they must attack the green idealogy not individuals.
Mr Ashby explains “Its the ideology that says building dams are evil, water diversions are evil, reducing bushfire fuel is evil, fishing, forestry and farming is evil.
In my view these ideas are pervasive in all the major parties and it causes carnage to people, the environment, and Australias economy. These TV ads are just touching the surface on the issues I feel strongly about”.

The Centenary medal recipient hopes enough people vote Climate sceptics so he can represent the interests of rural and thinking Australians in Canberra.

I’m not sure if it’s confirmation bias or not, but it seems like ALL the other micro parties are just attacking the Greens as their only avenue of attack.

(And if I had my head stuck as far up my arse as the Climate Sceptics apparently have theirs, I’d probably understand where Leon Ashby was coming from too.)

There’s no point asking them for evidence.

Even if you had the entire global scientific community telling them something, they’d ignore it.

    Why does that sound familiar?

    CC deniers…

“And if I had my head stuck as far up my arse as the Climate Sceptics apparently have theirs, I’d probably understand where Leon Ashby was coming from too”

Doesn’t the first part of that sentence provide the answer for the last?
