I set off this morning on my ride to highlight the poor state of Queensland roads, but this mornings news has me fuming. Julia Gillard has announced a policy of tieing school attendance to sport participation on the weekend. You are joking right, Julia? Have you not heard of the childhood obesity problem?
We need to be encouraging children to participate in sport not deprive them of sport. This policy just shows how much out of touch with reality Julia Gillard is and having no children of her own she is unable to pull her minders and string pullers up and say as a parent “This policy is wrong. Go away and come up with something better.”
Come on Labor surly you can do better than this rubbish. Policy like this shows Australian Labor Party is not fit to Govern.
