What are your thoughts on asylum seekers?
I am more concerned with the upcoming issue of environmental refugees.
Climate Change is real.
What are your thoughts on public transport?
We could solve our public transport problem by stopping the
construction of new roads and spending the money saved by that
decision on public transport infrastructure.
What are your thoughts on renewable energy?
We need our government to take back control of the energy sector and
set up a scheme that puts in place a target of free energy for the
people as soon as possible.
Do you support or oppose the introduction of the R18+ rating
classification for video games?
I need to do more research.
Do you support or oppose the proposed internet filter?
I am opposed to it from what i have heard through talk back radio.
Do you support or oppose gay marriage?
I support gay marriage.
What are your thoughts on abortion?
There can be circumstances that justify a persons choice. In the end
it is their choice and they are the ones that have to live with that
decision.
Do you support or oppose the legalisation of voluntary euthanasia?
I support it. We do not let our animals suffer like we do with humans,
actually a person was fined by the rspca for cruelty to a horse that
was 26 years old because it was starving to death due to age. I have
seen a lot of elderly people starving to death as they are closer to
death.
What are your thoughts on stem cell research?
Not sure. Need more research.
What are your thoughts on education?
We are placing too much pressure on our children with the HSC exam
format. The system in the ACT seems to be a bit less pressured.
What are your thoughts on campaign finance disclosure?
I don.t like the fact that big business controls politics.
What are your thoughts on climate change?
It is real. Look at Pakistan.
We have had all records for weather patterns and weather events being
broken over the last 10 years. Biggest rains, hottest days, coldest
months etc etc.
As humans we need to be able to be held accountable by future
generations. There should be an Environmental Law in place that holds
individuals and business accountable and allows for all assets, of a
person or persons attatched to businesses or Governments that have
failed to act in accordance with the protection of the Environment, to
be taken as compensation for for that inaction.
What are your thoughts on water?
Why do we flush our drinking water down the toilet.
We should have one drinking tap in each house and the rest of the taps
should be supplied with recycled water.
Do you support or oppose standing order 50?
Need more research.
Are there any local issues you are trying to highlight with your campaign?
I feel we could have small communities powered with free community energy.
I feel our schools should put in place a program that teaches our
children to love themselves and build their self esteem. This
information would not only help them through adolescence but it would
be a life long knowledge of inner love.
What do you think about the media’s coverage of the election so far?
The small independent media outlets and the ABC have been fair with
their coverage however the big commercial networks over play the
situation to the point where politics is a show.
People are over the whole circus side of media coverage.
