Senate Candidate on tour in Queensland
I would like to announce that from Monday 9th of August, I the Senate Candidate for Queensland Russell Wattie, will be undertaking a whistle stop tour as has never before been undertaken by an Australian Senate Candidate.
Although breaking my back on a potholed Queensland road last year on the 20th of September 2009, I will be risking Queensland roads, the same as regular Queenslanders do every day, by travelling from Gold Coast Harley Davidson Ferry Rd Southport QLD 4215 at 9.00 AM Monday 9th of August.
My stops along the way will be as follows:

Townsville ETA 7.30 PM

Riding towards Roma intended stop approx 10.00 PM

As you will note this is a ride with not a lot of stops over a 5 day period with the intention of highlighting the poor state of Queensland Roads. There is a need for more Federal and State funding to address these roads issues.
