“Do you support or oppose standing order 50? From which organisation? Most have standing orders.”

This is fair enough. The question wasn’t explicitly asking about the Senate standing orders. Jeannie, you can view standing order 50 here.

For everyone else, you can view the SA Australian Democrats preferences here.

Jeannie, providing links to policy, particularly to PDFs, doesn’t make it terribly easy for people to get the information needed.
PDFs are great, mind, but do really need to be used appropriately.

  • Spikes To You

Sure, I can copypasta those links you posted, but what part of ‘you can use HTML tags’ eludes you people? You can’t even a link. Like hell I’m going to trust you with teh internets.

  • Spikes To You

oo-er, I just did myself a mischief. should read “you can’t even [a href] a link”. Tech savvy fail.

  • Chris

We can use html tags the same as you can copy-paste. It’s a choice /shrug
Also, there was a deliberate choice made here because we asked for answers and got links. The amount of effort put into the response correlates to the effort put into posting.

  • David

Sure, I can spend 10 minutes editing html because the Democrats are too lazy to answer the questions.

Like hell I’m going to trust them with the parliaments.

    /Works both ways.

Chris and David: the previous comment was perhaps a bit ambiguous, but directed at what I thought was a pretty half arsed reply from the candidate. Half-arsedness which was made much worse by horrible formatting.

I think we’re all making roughly the same point on this – this is a fairly weak response from the Democrats, and poorly executed. After that chap from the NT they’re not doing themselves any favours here.

I really wish they would put in more effort than this… because they do have good policies, but yeah certainly; half-assed and insulting replies aren’t what anyone wants to see.
